Once a medical artist at Harvard, Alex Grey has,
over the last thirty years, painted "theocentric" personnages based on his
own experiences of meditation, prayer
and use of LSD. His work has appeared on
album covers of the rock band Tool and it
has inspired the creation of a
Chapel of Sacred Mirrors, a "church"
where one is invited "to see the world and oneself
as reflections of the divine."
